Chris's Toyota MR2
aerodynamic evolution...
Chris's MR2 has had a difficult life. When purchased, the engine was worn out, the exhaust leaked all over the place, and the T-tops leaked. That same night, someone who shall remain very nameless ran the car into a pole. (dorifto ^_^ ) The car was very tired and in most cases, it would have been scraped. Chris decided he did not want another project car at the time (he was concentrating his efforts on the CRX and the Civic) and let my sister borrow the car. The MR2 saw countless 500 mile journeys across Texas, and yet, it never skipped a beat.
Then came the day that the CRX was totaled and the Civic was sold. Although both events were very sad, they made way for the MR2's make over. By now the MR2 was consuming oil and could no longer stay in 5th gear on the freeway. We put the car under the knife. We brought new life to the tired four-ey-gee.
